SUBLET
An apartment to die for.
Life hasn’t been kind to Julia lately, and receiving a Tarot card in the mail from a mysterious sender doesn’t help. In fact, her two friends have also received one and agree that the card could just as easily be a harbinger of good fortune rather than ill tidings.
Refusing to be spooked, she sets aside the forewarning, focusing instead on moving to the affordable apartment she sublet in a gorgeous brownstone in a trendy neighborhood.
But no sooner does Julia move in than strange things start happening, which she attributes to her active imagination — she’s an artist after all — or possibly her pain meds. It hasn’t yet occurred to her that it could be something sinister instead.
Time will tell, but time isn’t on her side.

SOLACE
A gift or a curse?
Until recently, assistant hotel manager Tricia has led a predictable life. But a brief meeting with a stranger at her gran’s funeral sets in motion a series of events that leave her stunned. The Tarot card she had received in the mail had predicted as much.
Within days, she inherited a beautiful mansion, which the townsfolk claim is haunted. Her career is on pause, and her romantic relationship has unravelled.
All things considered, this new opportunity could be a blessing in disguise if she can overlook the mansion’s terrible past and find a way to finance her future.
A small brass key found among her inheritance could unlock the mystery, but she may find much more than she had bargained for.

A flight into danger.
No-nonsense airline pilot Kristen doesn’t believe in the supernatural, so when the Arcana card arrives in the mail, she dismisses its warnings.
Instead, she is looking forward to starting her vacation as soon as she returns from her last-minute flight. However, the round-trip to the Exumas that should have taken a couple of hours is indefinitely delayed.
A hurricane heading toward them is the least of her problems. An intercepted criminal plan, an unexpected reunion with a pilot, and someone hunting down what belongs to them have made her, and everyone else, a target of an unknown assailant.
Stranded on the private cay with the residents, and cut off from the world, time is running out.
Once the storm has passed, her opinion about the Tarot card may have changed.
